FORTWIHR: Research Projects (1995-1998)

Four topics have been in the centre of interest during FORTWIHR's first two terms: fluid dynamics, dynamical systems, melting processes and crystal growth, and semiconductors and electric circuits. In these areas, numerical simulation has seen an important progress and success. Furthermore, here, the need of industry for simulation techniques is especially high.
